I am currently a Manager at the State Education Department's Office for Special Education Quality Assurance. I am also an Associate Minister/Assitant Pastor at a AME Church in Queens, New York. I am a single mother adoptive mother. Every day I make choices that affect those in my community. I have developed children's programing in church and outside of church. I taught students with disabilities for many years in the New York City area. I lead by example. I started a business some years ago called "Living Out Loud" with a friend. It's purpose was to create a safe space for women to explore themselves and their purpose in life. I am currently planning a small buisness focused on little girls, hair and self esteem.

Hi Belinda! I hope all is well with you. I was so busy this summer I'm just beginning to slow down now that fall is upon us. I know you are busy with all your responsibilities-please reach out when you get a free moment.

Hi Belinda,
I have been so swamped I haven't really been on lately. I am trying to maximize my time but I haven't really had the time to devote to working on the conference lately. The next couple of weeks should be better for me. How have you been? Are you feeling better? I hope so...Keep in touch and we will touch base soon.

Hi Belinda, thanks for responding back so quickly! I would love for you to be apart of the planning stages. As far as childcare concerns of course we will address that issue. The conference will of course take place in New York. We were shooting for Labor Day but maybe October would be better. I live in Queens so get in contact with me so we can talk. Have a great week and hope to hear from you soon.....

Hi Belinda, Just go to the group page and sign up to be a NY Leader. We are all the motivators for each other. Remember in unity their is strength. Contact me whenver you need a pick me up. I am so overwhelmed its not even funny. Just don't overextend yourself. Take time once in awhile to just do you! I know it sounds easier said than done, but once a week I take time to pamper my mind and spirit. Keep in touch.
