Hey Diamond Jem - Thanks for asking! I just finished dancing in a synodical worship service with my second daughter, reconnecting with a painful past, rising like a phoenix or great blue heron. I could see how spirit's working in me is and will be a blessing to those who wanted to push me aside and those who too are being pushed aside. I could see spirit working all around me! Thanks for being a diamond on my journey!
P.S. I called Obama's headquarters with uninspiring results, which inspires me to dream forward. The dreams are amazing! How are your dreams developing! Let's dialogue!

Hi Jem! Myself and other leaders on the network are interested in holding our own Conference similiar to the White House Project event that brought us all together in the first place. We would love to have you involved! We are currently in the start up stages and any advice you can give us would be greatly appreciated. Talk to you soon and have a great week!

Hi Jem! I just wanted to pop on and see if you had had the opportunity to check out the "Maximized" page, and to invite you to join us as we "Maximize the Moment" for each other. The program will be similar to what the training would have offered each of us should we have been selected. We will work together, utilizing the skills and abilities of each, in order to assist each other in the structure or growth of our business or venture (both for profit and non profit). We have so many talented women in this network...we would be foolish not to pool our resources and abilities to help each other succeed.

We will be holding our first conference call tomorrow at 1 PM (EST) and the instructions for this call can be found in a blog (under agenda and instructions for call) on the Maximized page. It is set for 30-60 minutes, but we will only take as much time as the group has, so even if you only have 15 minutes I hope you will pop on and join us. We will be discussing what the program can do for each of us, and any ideas on how to structure and operate the program. From here we will set the program in motion and start maximizing our potential together!

If you have any questions let me know, otherwise I hope to speak with you tomorrow! Have a great day!

patience is something that we all face daily. Just keep doing what you do and all will fall into place. Always look for ways to grow daily and if you have a negative thought you must replace it immediately with two positive thoughts.

Finally, do something everyday that will help you reach your dream.

Power Mommies
(A poem for all of the power mommies on the White House Project)

Our days are long, the thanks are few but there is something special about what we do,
We wake up at the crack of dawn; pray for wisdom and guidance so we can make it through.
We fax our bid, finish a dozen emails and whip up breakfast and yeah--sometimes burn the toast.
We change many diapers, pack up backpacks while we answer calls from coast to coast.

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies, through and through.

We glance at our Outlook, while we read the latest report,
But our focus stays constant while our sons play on their fort.
We never set an appointment without careful consideration,
To ensure we help our daughters with their report on the United Nations.

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

There are days when we are exhausted beyond measure,
Truth be told for us, our motivation is but a heartfelt treasure.
We purpose in our lives to be vibrant professionals and great mothers,
We can do just about anything—heck-- even go undercover!

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

We can do just about anything but sometimes encouragement and compliments are few,
Whether it is guiding huge corporations or serving the homeless with our crew,
We come in all shapes and sizes and beautiful colors galore,
We are inspiring and gifted so watch out cause there is so much more!

We are power mommies, that is what we do,
We are power mommies through and through.

To be continued……….
