Healthcare Costs in America

How about a nice little dose of common sense.

Really.

When I went for my annual physical, I wrote down a list of every person involved, from the secretary to the nurse, to the Doc, to the techs at the hospital who did my PAP and mammogram and the folks who read the results. Thirty Two people.

That's Thirty two people!

It took Thirty Two people for my doctor to tell me I am perfectly healthy.

It's no wonder health care costs more in the United States than anywhere else in the world!

If that… Continue

Hey Kelley....How are you!!

I've been dodging all over Ohio to meet with healthcare workers, and will be settling into Cincinnati for the next few months. Fortunately, Columbus isn't too far away!! I'm going to see if I can stop by the Central Region WHP Meeting this Sunday. Please let me know if you're going to be there....it would be great to reconnect at the meeting or otherwise.

Hope to talk to you soon,

Ellie

Hello Kelley! I just wanted to see what you were up to now, and to check and see when your book is due to be released.

I also wanted to pick your brain about the Maximized group. We recently sent out an email to the members in an attempt to increase the amount of activity within the group regarding our mentorship program and our first participant, Synergy boot camp. We have had very little feedback from everyone, and we are looking for ways to encourage our members to take active roles in this program. I would like to get your opinion on the group, our purpose, and also our first project.

Thank you in advance for your time! I look forward to hearing from you.

Please run again. I am on my fifth campaign, having won one, lost one by .5 %. You have to keep breaking down the door. This time I have raised the right amount of money!! Ohio is a battleground state--my ancestors pioneered there.

I have already met with Liz Shirley at the Democratic Womens Caucus to develop just such a plan.
We can hook up for lunch or coffee to discuss it. (Call when you have some time open.)

In the mean time, I suggest riding on Robinsons coat tails a bit. He has a canvassing event this Saturday in Powell where you could meet some new voters, and a few parade events lined up as well.

Here is his schedule:

Saturday, June 21st-- Canvass and Literature Drop in Powell at 9:30 am. We will meet at the Starbucks on corner of Powell Road (St. Rte. 750) and Sawmill Parkway.

June 27th-29th-- Comfest at Goodale Park. Details TBA. Volunteers needed to sign up supporters.

Thursday, July 3rd-- Red, White and Boom parade in downtown Columbus. Details TBA.

Friday, July 4th-- Parades in Dublin, Westerville. Details TBA.

Thanks! You're awesome! Sorry I couldn't get to the statehouse today. Looking forward to seeing the photo. Thinking about having some kind of rally to get out the women's vote in Delaware County. If you have any thoughts on that, let me know. Go girl!
