Profile Information

In 100 words or less tell us how you are a leader
My leadership abilities began way back as the oldest of four daughters, Sophomore Class President and HighStepper in high school.
In Corporate America, I was promoted to Account Executive leading my team to success by exceeding sales goals and being inducted into the President's Club, which honored the top 2% of the company.
Eventually, life started to take its toll, and after a corporate lay-off, my daughters ad I ended up homeless and on welfare and food stamps after unemployment benefits ran out. That experience strengthened my resolve to help others through their adversity, and I founded a 501 c3 helping homeless women with children. Using this as a platform, I began helping others through speaking and workshops, as I continue to do today. My modeling career began at the age of 40, showing that a breast cancer survivor can become a role model too.

What an awesome profile! I was moved, not by the tragedies that you and your daughters experienced, but more by the fact that you seemed to focus on the solutions and not the problem! I have a belief that "though we walk 'through' the valley of the "shadow' of death - we have no evil to fear for we have not been given the spirit of fear, but of love, truth, goodnesss, faith and a sound mind. Great is the love that is in you and all whom you serve. God bless sister!
